BRINGING IDEAS TO LIFE

Hi there and welcome to my portfolio. I'm a freelance Animator/Illustrator based in Auckland, New Zealand. I'm passionate about the creative work I do, and enjoy developing ideas to their full potential.

From sketch to screen and print, my work has appeared in children's books, comic books, e-learning, websites, explainer videos and on television. I've also hosted comic book, illustration and animation workshops tutoring both kids and adults.

DIGITAL RESCUE

I was contracted to storyboard, animate and illustrate an explainer video for Digital Rescue, a respected web design agency. I had a lot of fun animating the characters, as well as designing and illustrating the many props, characters and backgrounds.

PAINTING IN PHOTOSHOP

When I coloured my inked drawings in PhotoShop, I would often put so much detail into the colours that I was left to wonder what the illustrations would look like without the outlines. Following from that, I made a small collection of PhotoShop paintings.

CAPTAIN CUSTARD

I've always loved comics. I think they're a great alternative to animation. Tapping into creations and inspirations from my childhood, I have written and am currently illustrating my comic Captain Custard and the Cry of the Squalls.
